Technical Parameters

    Silicon-calcium alloy is a composite alloy composed of silicon, calcium, and iron. Due to the strong affinity of silicon and calcium (especially calcium) for oxygen, sulfur, and nitrogen, it has become an ideal composite deoxidizer and desulfurizer. It exhibits excellent deoxidation capabilities, with products easily floating and being discharged. It can also replace aluminum to achieve final deoxidation, improving the plasticity, impact toughness, and fluidity of steel. It is widely used in the production of high-quality steel, low-carbon steel, stainless steel, rail steel, and nickel-based, titanium-based, and other special alloys. Simultaneously, it can be used as a converter warming agent, cast iron inoculant, and ductile iron additive, making it suitable for various metallurgical casting scenarios.

    Production Process: Raw material screening and proportioning (silica, lime, coke) / Mixing pretreatment / High-temperature (1500-1800℃) strong reduction smelting in an electric arc furnace / Slag separation / Cooling and forming / Crushing / Screening

    Product Uses: Used in the metallurgical and foundry industries as a composite deoxidizer, desulfurizer, inoculant, and alloy additive, such as in the production of high-quality steel, low-carbon steel, stainless steel, rail steel, nickel-based alloys, titanium-based alloys, etc., and in casting applications such as ductile iron and gray cast iron; it can efficiently remove impurities such as oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, and hydrogen from molten steel/iron, improve the plasticity, impact toughness, and fluidity of steel, optimize the graphite morphology and distribution in cast iron, reduce the tendency for white cast iron, and prevent continuous casting nozzle blockage, thereby improving the overall quality of the material.
