    Ferromanganese alloy is a ferroalloy product composed primarily of manganese, silicon, and iron, with small amounts of carbon and other elements. It boasts a wide range of applications and ranks among the top-produced ferroalloys. As a key auxiliary material in the metallurgical industry, it possesses a dual core function: it is a commonly used composite deoxidizer in steelmaking, effectively improving the purity of molten steel; and it is also a core reducing agent for the preparation of low- and medium-carbon ferromanganese and the production of metallic manganese via the electrosilicon thermal process. This alloy exhibits excellent smelting adaptability, enabling continuous production in large, medium, and small submerged arc furnaces. Notably, both manganese and silicon are indispensable alloying elements in carbon steelmaking, with manganese being a crucial deoxidizer in the steelmaking process; the production of almost all types of steel relies on manganese for deoxidation.
